Inside Line Promotions – EAGLE, Neb. (June 24, 2014) – Jack Dover is gearing up for a tripleheader this weekend at a trio of tracks where he has already claimed a feature win this year.

Dover will compete with the Nebraska 360 Sprints on Friday at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Neb., where he was victorious in his last race and has finished in the top seven in all three events this year.

On Saturday, Dover and the Nebraska 360 Sprints will tackle Butler County Speedway in Rising City, Neb. Dover placed first and third, respectively, in his two races at the track this season.

The weekend wraps up on Sunday at 81 Speedway with the ASCS Sooner Region and NCRA. Dover’s most recent win – his sixth of the year – was at the 3/8-mile oval.

“My main goal is to try to sweep the weekend,” he said. “I’ve won at each of those tracks once this year and I want to do it again this weekend.”

Dover was slated to race last Saturday at Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction, Neb., before weather cancelled the Nebraska 360 Sprints race. He then talked to Dan Satriano and the duo partnered to race a 305ci event that night at Eagle Raceway.

Because he didn’t have any points from previous races, Dover was forced to start last in his heat race. He rallied from 10th to sixth, but was one spot out of locking into the main event. That lined him up on the outside of the front row of the B Main, which he won to transfer into the feature.

Dover then charged from 16th to sixth in the first half of the main event before the engine began to overheat.

“Everybody was beating me down the straightaway and I drove it harder than every else in the corners,” he said. “A yellow came out and it got really hot so I pulled off. They have a low-budget team so I was looking out for them.”

Dover was credited with an 18th-place result, which marked the first time he was unable to capture a top-seven finish this season.
