After a long week of helping friends and family with the flooding in our hometown JRR was back to the track on Saturday night at the Jackson Speedway in their Todd's Station 360 Sprint Car. Jody started the night off starting 5th in his heat and running third to help himself into the redraw for the A feature via passing points. Jody drew outside the front row and from there piloted his #14 to victory lane for the 2nd time this season. Then on Sunday the team headed to Casino Speedway in Watertown, SD for the Buffalo Wild Wings Showdown. With double qualifying heats to set up the feature lineup Jody was able to be sixth in point after qualifying and make it into the top 8 redraw for the A Main. With the help of a lucky young fan to help us out Jody drew the pole position in the $3000 to win Main Event. Jody shot out to the early lead and led the first half the race when something broke in the rearend of the racecar and forcing it into the turn 3 wall ending his night. The team will be back in action next weekend at Redwood Falls on Friday, Jackson on Saturday, and back to Husets on Sunday. Also, Jody Rosenboom Racing Apparel is in and can be picked up in the pits after the races.
