A capacity crowd was on hand to witness the inaugural visit to Moler Raceway Park by the NRA Sprint Invaders, Friday night, July 10. Fireworks thrilled the fans as they were shot off during the final intermission prior to the Invaders A main. Not to be outdone by the light show the NRA drivers ran 30 non-stop laps green to checkerd putting on an edge of your seat, action packed race for the fans.
JR Stewart took the early lead at the drop of the green but the night would belong to Neil Shepherd. Shepherd was cleary the most dominant car on the track as the young driver claimed his first NRA Sprint Invaders victory. Stewart settled for second, followed by Ron Blair who charged from a 12th place starting position. Luke Hall and Tim Hunter rounded out the top five.
