Paul Nienhiser Racing traveled to Nebraska and Kansas this past weekend to run with the World of Outlaws. Friday's event was at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska.
Paul kicked off the evening timing an impressive 13th out of a stout 30 car field. He then held his 5th place starting position in his heat race to transfer directly into the A-main. At the drop of the green, something didn't feel right to the driver and the car looped around up the track. Luckily, without suffering any damage, Paul decided to save the equipment for the rest of the weekend, and pull into the infield to play it safe.
Saturday's event was at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas. Paul qualified 17th. He suffered a broken rear end on the opening lap of his heat race. Causing the team to frantically get a new one in for the A-main. The team successfully got it ready, but a damaged U-Joint would prevent Paul from taking the green flag.
This Saturday PNR will be competing with the World of Outlaws once again but this time at the famed Knoxville Raceway! It's sure to be a fun-filled event and a great learning experience.
Paul and the entire team would like to thank the following partners and friends for their continued support in 2014: Cam2 Racing Oil, Mason Sound, Fierce Herbicide, Wessler Bros. Agency, Engler Machine & Tool, Arends-Awe John Deere, Bradshaw Custom Pumping, Bob Hawks Autobody, Steve Thomas Racing, Simpson Indy, and Butlerbuilt Seats!
