Inside Line Promotions – SPRINGFIELD, Neb. (June 10, 2014) – If history is any indicator heading into the Bud Shootout this Friday at U.S. 36 Raceway, Jack Dover is a safe bet to win.

Dover has finished in the top two during the ASCS Warrior Region Bud Shootout each of the past four years. In fact, Dover has alternated winning in the even years and finishing second in the odd years during that span at the high-banked track near Cameron, Mo.

“That’s always exciting going there,” he said. “It’s always a confidence booster going there and I’m looking forward to the next race.”

That would be this Friday for the 14th edition of the famed event, which pays $500 to win each heat race and provides the Hard Charger Award winner half of the 50/50 drawing money.

“I get my new engine this week so that is exciting as well,” said Dover, who has also garnered a regional win at the track in each of the past four seasons.

This weekend wraps up on Sunday at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kan., with the NCRA. Dover was victorious last season during his lone race at the track.

“We’ve won there three or four times,” he said. “It’s exciting going there because we do well and it’s another track that we have a good chance to win at it.”

Additionally, Dover said t-shirts and sweatshirts have been designed and his team should have them for sale later this month. Dover is also working on hats for the first time.
