World of Outlaws STP Sprint Cars Race Back to Primetime TV on CBS Sports Network

Multi-hour Wednesday broadcasts begin this week at 9:00 PM Eastern
CONCORD, N.C. - June 2, 2014 - Beginning this Wednesday night, the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series begins a four-week run on CBS Sports Network with two-hour broadcasts from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. every Wednesday in June.

The shows will be the first time the series has aired in primetime on weeknights since 2006. The coverage will include action from both nights of the Texas Outlaw Nationals at Devil's Bowl Speedway, the Gettysburg Clash at Lincoln Speedway and the Spring Nationals at Williams Grove Speedway.

After a successful debut last fall, CBS Sports Network will also air a second set of events in December, including the Super DIRTcar Series' NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week as well as the season-ending World Finals, featuring the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Cars, the World of Outlaws Late Models and the Super DIRTcar Big-Block Modifieds.

Once again, the experienced broadcast team will be led by veteran play-by-play man Dave Rieff anchoring the shows with color analysis from sprint car hall-of-famer Brad Doty and reporting by Bobby Gerould and Tony Bokhoven.

CBS Sports Network is available across the United States through local cable, video and telco providers and via satellite on DirecTV Channel 221 and Dish Network Channel 158.
