Inside Line Promotions – SAN TAN VALLEY, Ariz. (May 29, 2014) – Seven Inside Line Promotions drivers recorded at least one victory last weekend during the most successful three-day stretch ever for Team ILP.
Derek Hagar won all three races during the first half of the USCS Speedweek. He picked up the trophy last Saturday at Jackson Motor Speedway in Byram, Miss., before winning at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, Miss., on Sunday. Hagar capped the holiday weekend with a triumph at Clayhill Motorsports in Atwood, Tenn., on Monday.
Seth Bergman swept the ASCS Northwest Region doubleheader at Cottage Grove Speedway in Cottage Grove, Ore., on Saturday and Sunday. That marked three wins in five races during his return to the Northwest. He also finished second on Friday at Willamette Speedway in Lebanon, Ore.
Tony Bruce Jr. garnered the Nebraska 360 Sprints victory on Saturday at Butler County Speedway in Rising City, Neb., for his second trip to Victory Lane this year.
Alex Bright charged from 20th to win the ARDC Midgets event last Sunday at Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, Pa. It was his fourth victory of the season.
Big Game Motorsports driver Craig Dollansky was victorious in a wild feature at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, Saturday. It was Dollansky’s third win of the season and second at Knoxville Raceway. He also finished fourth on Sunday at Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, S.D., where he currently leads the championship standings.
Jack Dover rallied from sixth to win the Charlie Clark Memorial on Sunday at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Neb., with the Nebraska 360 Sprints. He also finished second on Friday at Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction, Neb., third on Saturday at Butler County Speedway and second on Monday at Huset’s Speedway to give him nine consecutive podium finishes.
Austen Wheatley powered to his first career 410ci sprint car victory in the United States on Saturday at Skagit Speedway in Alger, Wash. He also ended with a fourth-place finish in the 360ci class.
In other top-five action for Team ILP, Big Game Motorsports driver Sammy Swindell led the first 22 laps before finishing second during the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series race at Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Ind., on Monday.
John Binz was the runner up in only his second micro sprint event of the season last Friday at Mountain Creek Speedway in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Travis Rilat picked up a pair of podiums with the ASCS Gulf South Region by finishing third at Cotton Bowl Speedway in Paige, Texas, on Friday and second at Shady Oaks Speedway in Goliad, Texas, on Saturday.
Giovanni Scelzi ran second in his nonwing micro sprint on Friday at Lemoore Raceway in Lemoore, Calif., and he placed fourth on Saturday at the track in the outlaw class.
Mark Burch Motorsports and Danny Lasoski ended second on Sunday at I-80 Speedway and drove to a fourth-place result on Saturday at Knoxville Raceway.
Tyler Thomas finished fourth and third, respectively, during the POWRi Lucas Oil National Dirt Series doubleheader last Saturday and Sunday at Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie, Wis.
Henry Van Dam earned his first podium finish of the season with a third-place result on Saturday at Cottage Grove Speedway.
Cody Freeman wound up third on Saturday at Gulf Coast Speedway in Alvin, Texas.
Channin Tankersley extended his ASCS Gulf South Region points lead with help from a fourth-place finish on Friday at Cotton Bowl Speedway.
Trey Starks wrapped up his weekend with the ASCS Northwest Region with a fourth-place result on Sunday at Cottage Grove Speedway.
Jamie Ball garnered his second top five of the season by ending fourth on Saturday at Knoxville Raceway.
Graves Motorsports driver Kolt Walker placed fifth on Saturday at Shady Oaks Speedway.
