Marcham Debuts with Bryan Clauson Racing with a Solid Second Place Finish

Gas City, IN- Trey Marcham, the 2013 Western States Midget Rookie of the Year, teamed up with the powerful BCI/CTR/Curb-Agajanian Driven Driver Development Program to run his first run at Gas City I-69 Speedway in preparation for the upcoming Indiana Midget Week. Marcham drew the pole for the midget A-Feature and lead the first 15 laps until getting hung up by a lap car, and finished second in his debut with Bryan Clauson Racing.

"I should have been more aggressive, but I really appreciate the opportunity to run with such a great race team. I have to thank Bryan Clauson Racing for giving me such an amazing car and I can't wait to come back for Midget Week!!" stated the Oklahoma native. Marcham will again chauffer one of the Clauson Spike/Esslinger entries in the illustrious Indiana Midget Week, June 11 through 15 where Marcham will race at five different tracks in USAC National Midget competition over five consecutive nights, competing at some of most legendary tracks of the Midwest.

Marcham heads next to a May 31 race at Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, California where he is leading the USAC Western Midget Dirt point standings. Marcham will be driving the 73x Keith Ford King Racing Products/A & A Precision Machine TCR/Esslinger, and is sponsored by Marcham Energy, Pinnacle Energy Services, Select Coatings, Metal Supermarkets, Best Western Tulsa Airport, Simpson Race Products.

Marcham, a senior Engineering student at Oklahoma University, with over 11 years of experience in Micro Sprints, Ford Focus Midgets, 360 Non-Wing Sprint Cars and asphalt Late Models, has shown amazing poise and talent has been seen passing drivers with thousands more laps and experience than he in a Midget. Marcham has amassed six Championships at I-44 Riverside Speedway in Newcastle, Oklahoma, as well as several wins and podium finishes in 2013 and 2014.
