Bristol, WI – May 22, 2014. Bill and the B2 Motorsports team made the short trip north to the Beaver Dam Raceway in Beaver Dam, WI for their second appearance of the season. The night started off with Bill once again laying down the fastest time of the twenty-seven cars on hand, the team’s third fast time award of the season. Lining up in the 6th starting position, Bill quickly made his way into the 4th position where he would run the remainder of the heat race with a narrow racing surface still on hand. Bill would draw the #2 pill for the feature invert setting the 17B sprinter up with a 4th place starting position. At the drop of the green Bill would be in a tight battle with Steve Meyer for the 4th position. Bill would gain that position and now the battle for third was with Travis Whitney. The two competitors gained on the leaders as the top four cars were in a fierce battle through the lap traffic. Just past half way Whitney would come to a stop with Bill not solidly in the 3rd position. Was the green was back out the top-3 were nose to tail quickly catching the back-markers with Bill now challenging Mike Reinke for 2nd position before the yellow flew for the last time on lap twenty-eight. On the green-white-checkered Bill made a charge for 2nd going into turn three, but could not make it stick and lost his momentum. Bill would trail Phillip Mock and Mike Reinke under the checkers to finish in the 3rd position.
This Memorial Day weekend, Bill and the B2 Motorsports team has a double-header on tap. Night number one will be at the Wilmot Raceway in Wilmot, WI on Saturday, May 24th.
