The level of excitement at the Apex SpeedSports hauler was at a fever pitch last night as Amber Balcaen debuted the Precison Land Solutions Ag Water Supply Champion Spark Plugs #10 sprint car. Balcaen's first time out in the Mopar powered 410 proved to be a success as she easily adapted to the big horsepower on a track that was essentially a mixed bag. She survived the heat to place 7th, which automatically advanced her to the A-Main. The track proved to be difficult to tame as the 26 car field took several attempts to get a single lap recorded. Numerous red flags delayed the race and it was eventually called due to a city noise ordinance. However, Balcaen found success in the night by seeing and avoiding the carnage that ensued on the track. Upcoming action for the team will include a double feature night next Friday, May 23 at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, ND. Rounding out the double header weekend will be the team's first visit to Buffalo River Race Park in Glyndon, MN. Follow Apex SpeedSports and Amber Balcaen on Facebook and Twitter for live updates.
