NE360 Sprints vs NCRA Sprints @ Butler County Speeday

Brandon Anderson - Lincoln, Nebraksa – May 6, 2014

The Nebraska 360 Sprint Series will return to familiar grounds this weekend as they comeback to the track that held the first series race, Butler County Speedway in Rising City Ne. While the tack is familiar some of the competition rolling in to the pits wont be, as the NCRA sprints will be making the trip north.

Jack Dover will be looking for his second win of the year after taking the top spot last week at Eagle Raceway. Dover has won 3 previous times with the Nebraska 360 Sprints at Butler County Speedway while Trevor Grossenbacher picked up the other win from the 4 stops at the track last season.

For the NCRA this will be a brand new track for them and on of the 2 tracks in Nebraska that they will compete at this season. They will team up again the the NE 360s in July for another battle here at Butler County and then back in September at Junction Motor Speedway.

After 2 events for the NCRA, Wichita Kansas Jeremy Campbell sits atop of the points standings with a 10 point advantage over veteran racer Danny Wood who happened to win the series last race. Kevin Swindell took the season opener event back in March at the 81 Speedway.

With $2000 on the line for the victor this should be a race that no sprint car fan will want to miss. Gates open at 5:00 PM with racing scheduled for a 7:00 PM start time.
