April 16, 2014; Oshkosh, WI. – The recent record setting winter had already put the pressure on local race tracks as they tried to whip their facilities into shape. This past weekend torrential rains and a hefty dose of snow would prove to be an exceptional due to several reason beyond the tracks control track officials in conjunction with the Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series have opted to postpone the first 410 sprint race of the season at the third-mile, clay oval.
The 2014 schedule for the Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprints will still remain at 30 races as an agreement has been reached to reschedule the event for late afternoon on Sunday May 4th.
The season opening show for the series will now be the Joe Wipperfurth Memorial race to be held at Beaver Dam Raceway on Saturday night April 26. The event is an all open-wheeled show as the IRA Sprint headline the program supported by the MSA 360 sprint series.
The high powered machines of the Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprints will then return to Oshkosh Speedzone for the rescheduled contest on Sunday Afternoon May 4th.
Pit gates will open for the IRA show at noon, grandstands at 2:00pm, hot laps and qualifying at 4:00pm with racing expected to start at 5:00pm. Pit passes will be $30.00 for this event and purses for the supporting divisions will race for an increased purse. These divisions will be Outlaw Chassis Grand Nationals, Gold Star Racing Supply Street Stocks and Ellington Mutual Dirt Devils.
Admission for this special event is just $20 for adults while students ages 11 through 15 are admitted for $10.00. Children ages 10 and under are admitted free.

Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway is a 1/3 mile semi-banked clay oval located at the Sunnyview Expo Center which resides near the intersection of Highways 76 and County Trunk Y in Oshkosh.
The 2014 Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series season will consist of 30 shows to be held this at 15 different area tracks.
