Well, we didn’t have the night that we were hoping for, but overall it was a good night of racing for Cobb Racing. We made it to the race track and back without tearing anything up and we brought the car home in one piece. The starting positions were determined by last year points and since we didn’t run the SST series last year we had to start in the back. The car was too tight on entry and couldn’t gain any positions. In the heat race we finished 7th and in the B-Main we started 10th and finished 7th. We finished 23rd overall.
If you are anywhere near a track that is hosting a SST race, you should defiantly check it out. The SST tour puts on a great presentation for the fans. It is one of the best presentations I have seen at the tracks.
This weekend we will be traveling to Grand Prairie to get some seat time in at the Mountain Creek Speedway before our 3rd SST race next weekend in Vivian, Louisiana at the Arklatex Speedway.
