KNOXVILLE, IOWA (March 27, 2014) - The non-profit National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum Foundation is pleased to announce that it has begun pre-selling limited-edition bobblehead collectibles, with the first one being of National Sprint Car Hall of Fame inductee Doug Wolfgang of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The seven-inch-tall bobbleheads retail for $19.99 each and are only available for purchase by those with current museum memberships. The bobbleheads will ship from the museum in early May.
According to museum executive director Bob Baker, “We are very excited to be adding this new offering for our supporting members, much like our past die-cast cars. Bobbleheads continue to be a hot item in the sports marketing world and National Sprint Car Hall of Fame inductee Doug Wolfgang has graciously allowed us to use his likeness for the first one. Doug’s popularity with the fans, as well as his five Knoxville Nationals wins and two National Sprint Car Poll ‘Driver of the Year’ titles, makes him an excellent candidate for our first-ever bobblehead.”
The Speedway Motors-uniformed Doug Wolfgang National Sprint Car Hall of Fame “Members Only” Bobblehead is only available through the non-profit National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum Foundation at a retail price of $19.99. Orders can be placed by calling the museum at 1-800-874-4488 or by mailing the completed order form, which can be found on-line at http://www.sprintcarhof.com/Pages/SpecialEvents, with payment back to the museum at P.O. Box 542, Knoxville, Iowa, 50138. FAX orders will be accepted at 641-842-6177, while e-mailed orders will be accepted at giftshop@sprintcarhof.com.
National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum Foundation annual supporting memberships ($25) are required in order to purchase this first-ever “Members Only” museum-benefit bobblehead. Annual supporting memberships can be purchased at the same time. The museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation organized in the state of Iowa on April 25, 1986.
