Steve Caunt won the A Main at Gunnedah Speedway Saturday night.
Heat 2 steve started from P 5 with 10 cars in the heat, Steve finished 3rd.
Heat 3 Steve started P 6 and finished 6th.
The dash, steve started P4 and won, however was relegated to P4 for an alledged jump start from the second row.
The feature with a P 4 starting spot, steve passed for third then made an inside pass on james thompson for second.
A couple of restarts and steve was on the heels of andrew wright, and as steve lined up andrew for a pass, andrew bobbled on the cushion in turns 3 and 4 and crashed into the fence. this stopped steve, lucky with no damage to the N9.
On the restart steve made a clear run, another 4 stoppaged due to spun cars and steve held out second place getter james thompson easily.
The slick conditions were testing but a great car setup by kyle and jamie and the Kahne shocks made a great feeling race car.
ECP Sydney is washed out this weekend, so its a rest and back to it in a few weeks.
