The 2014 Chili Bowl qualify is done for the JRR team out of Rock Rapids. Jody started off the night by drawing #54 out of the pill box slaying him to start outside row 2 for his heat race. In the heat Jody worked his way to the 3rd position before clipping the cone on a restart and was penalized two positions after the race finishing him in 5th. "I just took a bad angle coming off the corner on the restart and clipped it," said Rosenboom. His heat finish moved Jody to the C feature where he ran 4th and advanced to the B. Starting in the back of the B made it tough to make ground in a good field of cars and Jody settled for 15th in the B. "The cone deal was a tough break for us and put us behind the eightball all night. We will make some changes and be ready to race again on Saturday." Jody should be in the H feature come Saturday and will attempt to run the alphabet.
