Inside Line Promotions – LUBBOCK, Texas (Jan. 15, 2014) – Things are starting to pick up for Graves Motorsports as the team prepares to make a run at the ASCS Lone Star Region championship this season.
“We’ve been out of the shop for the last couple of months and are now getting back rolling,” driver Kolt Walker said. “We’re working on a few changes for next season.”
The team already has one race-ready car and has a brand new chassis ready to be assembled. Walker said most of the parts are at the shop and at this point the sprint car can be put together to give the team a spare.
In addition, Walker has been working on graphic designs for the race cars as well as various apparel designs. He is also talking with and searching for potential sponsors to partner with the program.
“We are only a few weeks away from the season starting so it’ll be here before we know it,” he said. “We’re doing all the legwork right now so that everything is ready to go for the season opener.”
As of now, Graves Motorsports is scheduled to kick off the season at Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas, on March 21-22 with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour.
