WATERTOWN, Conn.—Nov. 5, 2013— Fresh off his first-career Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) victory on Saturday, Nov. 2 at Southern New Mexico Speedway, David Gravel will be a guest on “Winged Nation” on MRN.com today at Noon Eastern. The win was the third of the season for the native of Watertown, Conn., adding to a pair of triumphs with the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series, including on the opening night of the Knoxville Nationals back in August.
Gravel is the leading contender for the Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year Award with the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series heading into this week’s season-ending World Finals at The Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, N.C. Gravel's win last weekend came aboard the No. 82 Buffalo Wild Wings machine for the Blazin Racing team.
