Bryan Hulbert - TULSA, Okla. (August 25, 2013) For drivers and fans of the ASCS brand of racing, Labor Day Weekend gives a selection of races not offered by any other Sprint Car sanctioning body. With events in Minnesota, Montana, Texas, New Mexico, and Missouri, those fans and drivers will have 10 events to choose from between Friday, August 30 and Sunday, September 1.
Spread between the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by MAVTV American Real, Speedway Motors Warrior and Midwest Regions, Smiley’s Racing Products Lone Star Region, Frontier Region, and ASCS 305, close to 150 drivers from nearly a dozen states are expected to compete over the three day schedule.

Friday’s portion of the 2013 Labor Day Weekend brings three regions of the ASCS Nation to life along with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour. ASCS 305cid drivers will return to the El Paso Speedway Park in El Paso, Texas with John Carney II leading the national point standings.
The Frontier Region heads back to the Electric City Speedway in Great Falls, Mont. for the first of two nights on the weekend with the Speedway Motors Midwest Region joining with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour for the first night of the 35th Jackson Nationals in Jackson, Minn.

Saturday will see the Smiley’s Racing Products Lone Star Region joining the lineup with events at the Abilene Speedway in Abilene, Texas. The Frontier Region concludes their weekend at the Electric City Speedway with the ASCS 305cid national point’s battle concluding at the Southern New Mexico Speedway in Las Cruces, N.M.
The Speedway Motors Warrior Region returns to the high-banked Randolph County Raceway for the second time in 2013. A $2,000 check is on the line for the first of a two night special.
Speedway Motors Midwest drivers along with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour wrap up the 35th Jackson Nationals.

The lightest day of the weekend, the Smiley’s Racing Products Lone Star Region will head to the panhandle of Texas and the Lubbock Motor Speedway in Lubbock, Texas.
The Speedway Motors Warrior Region caps the weekend so to speak with the second night of racing at the Randolph County Raceway. Offering $4,000 to the winner, the Sunday special is the highest paying race in 2013 for the Warrior Region, outside a co-sanctioned event with the National Tour.
