Williams Grove Hosts Kids Night, URC Sprints & 410 Sprints August 14

Mechanicsburg - Friday, August 14 will be Kids Night at Williams Grove Speedway, featuring games, activities and prizes for youth before and during the races in the infield.

Action on the track for the night features the Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprints and the URC 360/358 sprints.

Racing action begins at 7:30 pm.

The URC sprints will be competing in their third and final show of the year at the historic oval.

So far this season, Curt Michael and Greg Hodnett have taken the URC shows held at the historic track.

The URCs will race in a 25-lap main, paying $2,000 to the winner.

Lap and bonus money will be in effect for the 410 sprints on Friday night.

General admission for the August 14 show is set at $15 with youth ages 13-20 admitted for $10.

Kids ages 12 and under are always admitted FREE at Williams Grove Speedway.

The track portion of the 50/50 on August 14 will go to the Boy Scouts Of America.

August 21 finds the fan favorite Diamond Series Twin 20s for the 410 sprints taking center stage along with Fireworks.

The Saturday Series street stocks will also be on the Twins program.

Williams Grove Speedway will purchase and distribute some $5,000 in rear tires to the competitors in the Twin 20s, adding to the overall value of the events.

All finishers in the first feature will each receive a free rear tire along with the winner of the second main event.

August will come to a close on the 28th with a sprint twinbill of 410 and 358 action.

The Williams Grove Saturday series featuring action with the super sportsman, limited late models and the street stocks continues through August.
