This weekend Williams Grove Speedway's seventh show of the 16-race schedule will feature the Blazer's Body Shop Super Sportsman, Credit Connection Auto Sales 358 Late Models and Aquafun Pools Street Stocks.
Last Saturday Scott Geesey from Wellsville scored a dominating victory in the Super Sportsman main event. Geesey is second on the Saturday Night Series all-time leading winner's list with 13 victories.
In the 358 Late Model division Dan Zechman won his second of the year, the third of his career. The Hanover competitor led every lap of the race.
The Street Stocks had two features. In the first race rookie driver Ryan Smith made his first visit to Williams Grove's victory lane. In the second feature Steven Dove from Lebanon held off a late surge by Craig Morgan to capture his initial triumph of 2015. The victory is the second of Dove's career.
Joining Saturday night's show will be the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing photo shoot. The museum will have several restored vintage race cars in the infield area. Fans will be able to photograph the cars and have an up-close view of racing equipment from years past. Williams Grove Speedway management will donate their half of the 50/50 money to the museum.
Saturday evening racing action begins at 7 PM. Adult admission remains at six dollars with children 12 and under free.
