Williams Grove Offers 358 Sprint Championship June 19, Opens PA Speedweek June 26

Mechanicsburg - A program of Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprints and HJ Towing & Recovery 358 sprints awaits fans this Friday night, June 19 at Williams Grove Speedway.

Racing begins at 7:30 pm.

A special championship event for the 358 sprints will be staged, paying $1,200 to win the 25-lap feature race.

Adult general admission for the show is $14 with youth ages 13-20 admitted for $10.

Kids ages 12 and under are always admitted free at Williams Grove Speedway!

The Williams Grove portion of the 50/50 on the night will be donated to Monroe Township Community Day, a local community festival and celebration in its 16th year in 2015.

Historic Williams Grove Speedway is located in Monroe Township, in eastern Cumberland County.

This Friday's program will include a 25-lap 410 sprint feature and qualifying heat action to go along with the 358 sprint competition.

Bonus and lap money will be on the line for the super sprints along with the standard $3,600 winner's share.

Just one week later, on June 26, Williams Grove Speedway will again kick off the annual Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek series, featuring a 30-lap main paying $5,000 to win for the super sprints.

The race will be part of the 2015 Diamond Series of races at the track and the ARDC Midgets will join the super sprints on the card.

The Williams Grove Saturday Series featuring the super sportsman continues on Saturdays during the summer months with race time at 7 pm each week.
