Mechanicsburg - Williams Grove Speedway will present the rich-purse United Racing Company 360/358 Sprint Nationals this Friday night, August 1 at 7:30 pm.
The Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint cars will be on the card along with the URC Sprints.
Both divisions will compete in full programs of qualifying heat races along with feature events.
There will be no time trials.
Bonus money and lap money will be in effect for the 410 sprints as is the case for all handicapped programs.
The URC Nationals will be 25 laps in distance and pay a tidy sum of $4,000 to the winner.
Last year it was Mark Smith who took the URC Nationals victory over Pat Cannon.
Earlier this season, East Berlin's Aaron Ott scored a Williams Grove URC event over Smith and the pair will likely be in the URC Nationals field this week.
Adult general admission for the 410 sprint and URC 360/358 sprint double this week is $15 with youth priced at $5.
The URC sprints will return to Williams Grove again in August, coming up on Friday August 22 along with the 410 sprints.
Aside from Friday programs at the oval, the Williams Grove Speedway Saturday Series, offering racing action with the Super Sportsman, 358 late models and street stocks at 6:30 pm is in full swing.
Saturday Series adult admission is JUST $5. And please remember, kids ages 12 and under are always admitted free at Williams Grove Speedway!
