Street Stocks In The Spotlight Saturday At Williams Grove Speedway

The Williams Grove Speedway Saturday Night Series returns to action this week featuring two 15-lap main events for the Aquafun Pools Street Stocks. Joining the Street Stocks will be the Blazer's Body Shop Super Sportsman and Credit Connection Auto Sales 358 Late Models.

The Street Stock division does not have a repeat winner. Jeff Haag and Kevin Sigler claimed the first two shows. Last week Greg Diehl topped the 18-car field. Walt Lemmon, Kevin Sigler, Jeff Haag and Doug Hoffman trailed the winner. Haag won the Artwerks Hard Charger award.

The 358 Late Models are equally competitive with no repeat winners. Kyle Lee and Matt Nailor each won their first at the Grove in the opening two events. Last week veteran Jake Jones was in victory lane after defeating Alan Sagi, Gene Knaub, Bobby Beard and Chad Julius. Knaub won the Artwerks Hard Charger money. Nineteen cars were in the pits.

Scott Geesey captured his second Super Sportsman tour win. Geesey, the two previous races, was a victim of racing woes. His car rolled over in the second race and caught on fire a week later. Scott Geesey finished ahead of Rich Eichelberger, Scott Dellinger, Chad Criswell, and Russ Mitten. Geesey was the winner of the Sprint Aces Hard Charger award. Thirty-one cars signed in for the race.

This Saturday the racing begins at 6:30 PM. Adult admission remains at five dollars with children 12 and under free.
