Cottage Grove, Oregon- Fans of the Cottage Grove Speedway will be happy to know that two popular classes have been added to schedule on Saturday June 15th. The 360 Sprints and Late Models will both be on hand for heart pounding action at the ¼-mile clay oval for Relay For Life Night. They will be joined by the Northwest Extreme Sprints, Street Stocks, and Pro-4 divisions. The Kage Karts will have their fourth race of 2013 on Friday the 14th to kick the busy weekend off.
Three-time champion Roger Crockett has managed to win all three point events at CGS when the 360 Sprints have been in town. Will his streak of main event wins continue or will someone else rise to the occasion?
In the last three Late Model shows Collen Winebarger has finished on top. The youngster has been the class of the field winning every time he has shown up at CGS. Paul Culp is the only other winner in the division as he picked up the victory in the first race of the year back in April.
The Northwest Extreme Sprints have had two races so far and two ladies have emerged victorious. Both Raquel Ivie and Kady Adelman have visited victory lane in 2013. Will there be a third different winner or will one of these girls become the first driver to win twice this season? The Street Stock division has Daniel Ray leading the win column with two triumphs while winning just once this year has been Darin Crooks and Jordan Braaten. The Pro-4 classification will make their first visit of the season to the Cottage Grove Speedway this Saturday night.
