The on-track action was equally as thrilling as the Halloween costumes presented on the night. Fans poured into the speedway dressed in their spookiest Halloween costumes, adding a festive flair to the event. Congratulations to the winners of our costume contest, you looked awesome!

Round 1 of the American Tire & Racing Services Track Championship saw NSW’s own, Michael Stewart, take out the feature win. Stewart was followed closely by Alex Orr in second place, with Super 2 driver, Callum Walker, rounding out the podium in third. It was a powerful start to what promises to be an exciting season.

In the Late Models feature, Daniel Cassidy continued his winning streak with another spectacular finish, taking the top spot. Ben Nicastri claimed a solid second place, with Darryl Grimson finishing strong in third. These three racers, who dominated the podium last round, once again showed why they’re among the best in the field.

The Lightning Sprints feature saw Bradley Anstis celebrate his first-ever victory at Sydney International Speedway. Anstis put on an impressive performance to hold off heat 1 winner AJ McTaggart, who finished in second, with Matt Reed securing third place in an exhilarating race.

We can’t thank our incredible staff and volunteers enough for their dedication to the speedway. Their hard work behind the scenes makes every event possible, and we’re thrilled to see the season kick off with such a fantastic turnout and unreal racing.

Fans can look forward to more action in just two weeks on November 9, when the Speedway will host Round 2 of the American Tire & Racing Services Track Championship for Sprintcars, the opening round for the Speedcars Track Championship, and Round 3 of the Syndicate Communications Lightning Sprints Track Championship, plus AMCAs.
