WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. (October 14, 2024) Going back to back at Riverside International Speedway during the USCS Flip-Flop 50, Howard Moore landed in the top ten during both features on Saturday night.
Ninth to seventh in the first feature event, Moore started the second round from eighth and made it to fifth. Derek Hagar would win both shows.
"Friday night, the heat races were run for the Saturday feature. I started fourth in the fifth heat and finished second. That gave me the ninth starting spot for the pole scramble, and I finished ninth," said Moore.
"That finish placed me in the ninth starting spot for the flip race on Saturday, and we went on to finish in the seventh position. In the Flop portion of the race, the finishing order of the Flip race is inverted. They invert the lead lap cars and then place the lap cars behind them. That would give me the eighth starting spot for the race. After a caution-laden race, we finished fifth."
Moore is set to return to Riverside this weekend for the World Short Track Championship.
