PETTY, Texas (October 16, 2024) Lighting the fuse on the season's only visit to Rocket Raceway Park, the MYCO Plastics ASCS Elite Outlaw Sprints will invade the Petty, Texas oval on Saturday, October 19, for the Rocket Launcher 30.
The second running of the $3,000 to win, $300 to start showdown at the three-eighths-mile oval, last year's inaugural event was topped by Oklahoma's Blake Hahn with Cody Gardner and Austin Mundie in tow.
Down to the final three events on the 2024 lineup, the season's chase for the title remains close, with only 30 points separating Marcus Thomas and 2023 series champion Austin Mundie.
Following this weekend's event at Rocket Raceway Park, the series will round out the 2024 season at Texarkana 67 Speedway with the 37th annual Short Track Nationals, which pays out a $20,000 winner's check. The event happens on Friday, November 1, and Saturday, November 2.
Saturday, September 19, at Rocket Raceway Park, opens at 6:00 P.M. with Hot Laps at 6:30 P.M. (CDT). Admission is $25 for adults, $20 for seniors and military, $10 for youth (6-12), and free for kids five and under. Pits are $40.
