The youth movement in Sprint Car Racing is showing no signs of slowing down, and 19-year-old Daison Pursley is more proof of that.
In 2025, the Locust Grove, Oklahoma native will join Kubota High Limit Racing for a full-time championship run, driving the Buch Motorsports, Avanti Windows & Doors #13 with crew chief Sean Strausbaugh.
Pursley's journey from micro sprints in Oklahoma as a pre-teen to Sprint Cars on the national stage before the age of 20 has been nothing short of remarkable, specifically his recovery from a 2021 career-threatening injury sustained in a Midget.
Since returning better and stronger than ever, Pursley's stock has shot through the roof as he's made waves in the USAC ranks. He's won in every USAC division - Silver Crown, Sprint Cars, and Midgets - this year, most notably seven times in his CB Industries #86 as they currently lead the NOS Energy Drink National Midget Championship.
Dipping his feet into winged racing earlier this year, Pursley quickly found speed in the Brandon Ikenberry #25 - winning at Huset's Speedway and earning a top-10 finish against the World of Outlaws at Attica Raceway Park.
Currently seventh in Kubota High Limit Racing points and fresh off a victory at Eldora Speedway, Buch Motorsports will close out the 2024 campaign with Justin Peck next week in Missouri and Texas before finishing the year with a few races for Pursley in the #13 to get him prepped and comfortable for 2025.
