Another season in the books, WOW! We asked a lot from everyone this year, our schedule was certainly challenging, both in regards to travel, and competition.
We can absolutely say that the season was a great success story. Those trips made us some new followers in regards to fans and competitors. No regional series has the infrastructure, experience, and perks of IRA. Our season gained momentum throughout, and our post Nationals crowds were absolutely through the roof. We ended the season strong with tremendously talented fields running in front of packed grandstands filled with enthusiastic fans. We hit some new markets, and returned to a few we hadn’t been to in a while. The hard work spent in the first half of the season provided huge benefits the second half which was tremendously successful both on and off the track.
Thanks to our member teams, and whether you ran 100 percent of our shows, or just ran once, you helped contribute to a great on-track product, Thank You! To our dedicated staff that make things happen throughout the week as well as on race day, Thank You, many of you went above and beyond. No regional series does everything we do, nor is any series more promoter friendly based on all we provide. We help publicize the event, run our portion effectively, have a good following of outstanding teams, bring trained safety professionals and equipment, and have additional insurance for our member drivers. We have a scorer who actually trains others how to do it for a living, have a dedicated race day track staff that is second to none and has the ability to do everything needed to put on a race, including even bringing a few high quality push trucks with us. We produce our own live streams and even have our own production trailer now. We have great young talent as our live event voices, and who also run our social media a long with some other of our younger staff. We have our own souvenir division and trailer. And we basically handle every aspect of putting on an event from a series perspective from start to finish, from pill draw to payout.
This is a 24/7 business running the day to day operations, including tire sales. We even have our own track prep specialist who comes to our rescue from time to time. Thank You to everyone who believes in us and helps make the IRA wheel keep turning, since 1966. To our teams, fans, sponsors, promoters, and staff. Thank You!
