The 42nd annual 4-Crown Nationals brought Kyle Steffens and 26 USAC Silver Crown National Championship entries to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) over the weekend for the two-day event.
With time trials on Friday night setting the stage for Saturday's main event, Steffens qualified 11th-fastest aboard his Performance Plus Global Logistics No. 8 entry.
Chasing the $15,000 top prize in Saturday’s finale, Kyle was sidelined late in the 50-lapper with a flat right-rear tire.
Steffens remains in fifth in the latest USAC Silver Crown National Championship point standings.
