Eldon, MO. (9/23/23) Continuous weekly precipitation causing flooded and saturated facility grounds blended with more predicted weekend rainfall has forced Lake Ozark Speedway, working in coordination with POWRi StockMod officials, to cancel the entirety of the 2nd Annual POWRi StockMod Nationals originally scheduled for September 25-28th.
“Unfortunately, with the track already receiving over two inches of rain from Monday, and more coming through into the weekend, there is no way to dry out or prepare the facility in time for all the entries and divisions entered,” said Kenny Brown of POWRi. “With all the divisional and track special events already on the schedule for October as well as the points finalizing on September 30th a postponement or rescheduling was simply not an option.”
Accordingly, any POWRi StockMod-Sanctioned venues competing this weekend will be awarded National Points for members in all divisional championship chases with the yearly standings finalized on Monday, September 30th.
