TKS Motorsports and Hunter Schuerenberg conclude time together; Team weighs schedule options

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

MITCHELLVILLE, Iowa (September 23, 2024) - Hunter Schuerenberg’s schedule with TKS Motorsports has officially concluded, and although the Mitchellville, Iowa-based operation missed main event action in Eldora Speedway’s annual 4-Crown Nationals on September 20-21, their combined time together was productive as well as awarding, helping each other prep for the final stages of the 2024 season.

“I want to thank Hunter for stepping in and driving for us these last few weeks. It was a pleasure working with him and we really enjoyed spending time with him and his family. It was a great learning experience for each of us,” Troy Renfro, owner of the TKS Motorsports, Iowa Barnstormers, Des Moines Industrial Products, Jersey Freeze Ice Cream, No. 2KS sprint car, said. “As far as the rest of the year, we’re not sure of anything just yet. We have some events circled, but we’ll come up with a final plan soon.”

As mentioned, TKS Motorsports and “Hunter Percent” Hunter Schuerenberg concluded their time together in Eldora Speedway’s annual 4-Crown Nationals featuring High Limit Racing on Friday and Saturday, September 20-21. Unfortunately, the team was unable to qualify for main event competition.
