It was a big weekend for Jody Rosenboom Racing and Jimco Motorsports with a weather cooperating and full weekend was in order. Friday night the team was in Jody's hometown of Rock Rapids for a 360 special. Jody took a 5th place starting spot and quickly moved into second early in the A feature, but a mechanical failure soon after ended the night for the #14 car. "It's too bad because our car was awesome. I really though we had a shot to win." Saturday night brought a trip to Knoxville Raceway for the Jimco Motorsports squad where Jody was able to put together a solid night and come away with a 13th place finish in the field of 35. "We didn't qualify very well and that kind of put us back a ways, but our team worked hard to make the car better each time we went on the track and ended up having a decent night." Sunday night Jody once again was pulling double duty at Husets Speedway. In the Wasmund 5W 360 Jody had made his way into the top 5 half way through the feature when the right front steering arm broke and the car hit the wall and tipped over ended the race for the 5W machine. "We had a good car and were making good headway through the field before we broke." In the 410 feature Jody had piloted his 97G into the top 5 from his 8th row starting spot, but after a red midway through the race the car lost some of its handling and Jody brought home a 7th place finish.
