BELGRADE, Mont. (September 6, 2024) The season's final visit to Gallatin Speedway during championship weekend saw the run to the 2024 title tighten as Trever Kirkland led flag-to-flag for his ninth career win with the ASCS Frontier Region.
Trever's first win of the 2024 season, the gap between the top three in points is down to 69 from 94. Making small gains on Phil Dietz, who holds the runner-up spot in tour standings, the No. 72 trailed Kirkland by 1.437-seconds at the drop of the checkered flag.
Joe Perry crossed third, with Kory Wermling in fourth. Moving up to fifth after starting eighth, championship leader, Kelly Miller, completed the top five.
The 2024 season comes to a close on Saturday, September 7 at Big Sky Speedway in Billings, Mont. Racing goes green at 7:00 p.m. (MDT). Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for veterans and seniors (65+), and free for kids 60-inches tall or shorter.

The 2024 season marks the 33rd season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes Regional Tours encompassing Wing and Non-Wing competition.
