EAGLE, Neb. (August 31, 2024) In action at the Eagle RaceSaver Nationals, Cole Vanderheiden battled an up-and-down weekend with a high water mark of fifth during the three-night affair.
Dealing with mechanical issue on Friday night, Saturday saw a change of pace with a fifth place finish to lock into Sunday's finale, followed by another fifth place run in the Race of Champions.
Wrapping up the weekend 13th on Sunday, the accomplishment is nothing to sneeze at with 105 total entries on the weekend.
"Can’t complain, we're getting there. We have come a long way since we started this racing deal five years ago in go-karts and micros," stated Cole on his Facebook page.
Looking to next weekend, Cole will be in action in RaceSaver at Winged 360cid competition at Beatrice Speedway on Friday, Thayer County Speedway on Saturday, and back at Eagle Raceway for the Alley Memorial on Sunday.
