VINCENTOWN, N.J. (August 19, 2024) - It was an impressive weekend in Posse Country for New Jersey’s own Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports, not only accumulating three consecutive top-ten appearances in visits to Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway, but highlighting the weekend agenda with back-to-back podiums at the Port Royal “Speed Palace,” doing so in the annual Living Legends Dream Race.
Whittall, pilot of his own JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, Enterprise, Prime Composite Innovations, Milky Way Restaurant, No. 67 sprint car, finished second in each of the aforementioned podium appearances, nearly sweeping the $12,500-to-win pair. The Vincentown, New Jersey, native commenced each of the 25-lappers from row three, pulling even with eventual feature one winner, Robbie Kendall, with two to go, all before making up a two second margin on Mike Wagner in the final laps of feature two.
As noted, it was a three-for-three weekend in the top-ten category, opening his racing agenda with an eighth-place score at The Grove on Friday.
“What a weekend,” Whittall was quick to mention. “Our confidence is sky high right now and that’s the most important part. We wanted the wins, but the great finishes will prove just as valuable. There are a lot of big races ahead this fall and we want to be in a battle for all of them. So many people to thank for our recent successes. It’s been a great ride.”
ON DECK:
Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports will continue their 2024 campaign with starts at Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway on Friday and Saturday, August 23-24. The events will award $8,000 and $7,300, respectively.
