FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Port Royal, PA - August 17, 2024 - Port Royal Speedway is on as scheduled for the 18th Annual Living Legends Dream Race presented by Mike Cleck Paving and Ramsey's Car Wash.
The Port Royal Speedway team has been monitoring the weather throughout the morning in hopes for a favorable forecast and feel they have what they need to get racing activities on as scheduled.
The committee knows that teams and fans will be traveling from all over the come watch the Weikert Livestock 410 sprint cars and the USAC East Coast wingless sprint cars race for their increased purses, and want to encourage all of them to make their way to the Speed Palace for a great night of racing activity.
Pit gates will open at 4PM as originally scheduled and general admission gates will open at 5PM. Hot laps are scheduled to take place at 6 and racing to get underway at 7PM.
