After running their last race in November of 21 at Perris Auto Speedway, the Moose’s were stuffed into the trailer and embarked on their 33 hour trip from California to their new home in Indiana. They hooped and hollered ( or whatever sounds Moose’s make ) for 2 years wanting out, begging to get out to play in the dirt. Tom finally let ‘em out in April of ’24, as we had planned to run the USAC Eastern Storm Tour in PA, but unfortunately those plans fizzled out.
So, you see, … it’s been a long time coming … and barring any last minute snaffoo’s,…The Moose Racing 92 sprint car with Cody Williams ( The California Cody Williams ) behind the wheel will be running The Kokomo Smackdown August 22, 23, & 24. Cody resides in Norco, California, with his wife Heidi ( who also has also piloted a 410 ) and 4 kiddos., he is the owner of CRW Designs And Machining. He is a USAC/CRA regular with 3 USAC/CRA victories under his belt. This will be his first competition on Indiana soil.
With over 25 years of car ownership we are thankful for the support from so many people and companies and wanted you to know that The Moose Is Loose!!
So excited to get back “ to the track”, reconnecting with old friends, making new and building memories here in the Midwest.
