JONESTOWN, Pa. (August 12, 2024) - It was a heartbreaking moment for Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing, and although the Jonestown, Pennsylvania, native was one spot short of a Knoxville Nationals A-Main start - finishing fifth from ninth in the Saturday B-Main - there were plenty of shining moments, launching his entire Knoxville Nationals effort with a seventh-place score in Wednesday’s preliminary main event.
Zearfoss, ace of his own Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, Milton Hershey School, EnTrust IT Solutions, Berkebile Oil Company, No. 3Z sprint car, started 11th in his preliminary main event attempt, battling ahead to the aforementioned seventh-place finish to secure his Saturday evening B-Main appearance.
Regardless of the overall outcome, the effort was outstanding, already aiming to keep his momentum alive in the upcoming Jackson Nationals in Jackson, Minnesota.
“So close on Saturday,” Zearfoss stated. “We had a great week so there’s nothing to hang our heads about. Just a great effort by this entire team and all of our partners. Just needed a little bit more, that’s all. Regardless, we have another big week ahead. Every weekend is a new weekend.”
