Mallett Masters ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints During Greenville Opener

GREENVILLE, Miss. (August 9, 2024) Taking on the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints at Greenville Speedway on Friday night, Jordon Mallett captured the first of two nights at the Mississippi oval.

Pocketing $2,000 for this efforts, the Awakening Events No. 14 took the green from the right of the third row. Picking forward to second on Lap 13, Mallett advanced to the point with 18 laps complete as race long leader, Zach Pringle, retired when the car slowed suddenly off the second turn.

Pacing the rest of the way, Mallett captured the win with 1.740-seconds between himself and Chase Howard. Brad Bowden crossed third, followed by Ronny Howard and Lane Whittington to complete the top five.

The ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints are back for Round 2 at Greenville Speedway on Saturday, August 10. Greenville Speedway is located at 1040 S Raceway in Greenville, Miss. For more information, call (662) 820-0654 or visit their Facebook page.
