ULMS Late Models Take Center Stage Friday Night in $4,500-to-win Willie & Conda McConnell Memorial

Sarver, PA (August 8, 2024) There's just two weeks remaining in the regular season as Fab4 Racing Revved Up with Marburger Farm Dairy winds towards Championship Night on August 16. And this Friday night brings us a special group of invaders to highlight an action packed night of racing at The Action Track.

The Jay's Automotive ULMS Late Model Series makes the first of three appearances on Friday night as they present the fourth annual "Willie and Conda McConnell Memorial" paying a cool $4,500 to the winner of the 30-lap main event. The area's best Late Model pilots will be on hand to take on one of the most competitive weekly fields in the country in terms of quality and quantity. Two-time (2022 and 2023) defending champion Gregg Satterlee should be on hand and looking to make it three wins in a row while 2021 champion Jared Miley would love to claim his second victory in event history. Michael Lake brings a healthy points lead into the action on Friday night over Ryan Montgomery, Logan Zarin, Dave Stamm and Tyler Emory. The weekly field of Precise Racing Products Late Models currently finds Michael Norris with a 48 point lead over second running Colton Flinner meaning Norris would need only to show up for consecutive Friday nights to earn yet another track championship.

Three points battles are still left to play out over the course of the final two weeks. AJ Flick holds a 31 point advantage over Carl Bowser in Peoples Natural Gas Sprint Car action. Last Friday night, invader Conner Morrell turned up and wound up on top of the field at the end of 25 laps to take the feature win over three time feature winner Brandon Spithaler. Meanwhile, in Diehl Automotive Big Block Modified action, Garrett Krummert holds 26 points over Rex King Jr. with Krummert looking to make it back to back wins on Friday night following his victory last Friday, to help further cement the deal on what would be his second career track title. And in the Millerstown Pic-A-Part Pro Stocks, Christian Schneider leads Chris by a slim 13 point margin which leaves him little room for error over the final two races to come home with his first career track championship.

Fans are reminded to bring a little extra cash on Friday night as former driver Chris Rudolph presents his annual Ride For Kids event to benefit the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. There will be prizes and door panels available to bid on and some very special children will have a chance to meet some of the drivers before racing begins!
