ROSSBURG, Ohio (August 3, 2024) Abby Hohlbein returned to her home-state of Ohio over the weekend as the Great Lakes Super Sprints (GLSS) invaded the famed Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Saturday evening.
With 31 entries amassed at the half-mile oval, Hohlbein backed up a seventh-place heat showing with a 10th-to-5th run in her consolation race. Pinned on the 11th row for the $2,000-to-win A-Main presented by Engine Pro & ARP, the Cloverdale, Ohio native climbed six positions in the 25-lap affair to cap off the night with a 15th-place finish.
"Huge thanks to my crew, family, and marketing partners for all they do for me week in and week out! It wouldn’t be possible without them," Hohlbein said. "It was also awesome to meet all the Ohio-Cat guys who came out to see us race! I can’t thank them enough for all they do to help our series."
