GREENVILLE, Miss. (August 6, 2024) Two nights in Mississippi are next for the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints, as the season's final visit to Greenville Speedway are coming up on Friday, August 9, and Saturday, August 10.
Last on track at Greenville Speedway on May 18, the race ended with Brad Bowden in Victory Lane for the second time in 2024 with a Lap 5 move to overtake Steve Howell for the lead.
Lane Whittington with a pair of wins on the season leads tour points going into the double-header weekend with Jake Brashier trailing by 108 markers. Evan McElhaney, Jan Howard, and Butch David make up the top five.
A $ 2,000-to-win affair, each night, the card will include Crate Late Models, Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, Hot Shots, and Young Guns both nights. Gates opens at 5:00 p.m. with racing at 7:00 p.m. (CDT). Tickets are $20 for adults per night, $5 for youth (6-10), and free for kids five and under. Pits are $35.
