PUEBLO, Colo. (August 4, 2024) - Colby Sokol pocketed a nice $1,500 by winning the Steel City Shootout, while Memarie Ashcraft and Kacie Pittmans also score feature wins on Saturday with the NOW600 Mile High Region at Honor Speedway!
23 total entries were on hand featuring 16-NOW600 A-Class Micros, 5-NOW600 Restricted Micros, and 2-NOW600 Junior Sprints.
Colby Sokol from the third starting spot went on to win the $1,500 to win A-Class division. Chase Spicola crossed in the second spot with Justis Sokol finishing third. Cole Esgar clinched the fourth spot with Enzo Spicola rounding out the top five.
Both Colby and Justis Sokol each topped heat races.
Memarie Ashcroft got the win in the Restricted class. JT Daniel was second with Blake Pittman crossing in third. Fourth went to Ethan Larsen, with Justin Ernst making up the top five.
JT Daniel won the lone heat race.
Kacie Pittman swept the night in Junior Sprints. Axten Larsen would cross in second.
The NOW600 Mile High Region returns to action on Saturday, August 10 at El Paso County Raceway in Calhan, CO.
