Growing up in a racing family from New Jersey, it made sense that Rob Schultz would ultimately find his way to the seat of a racecar. But, when his career took flight, so too did an idea. Taking what he learned in aviation -where the company started – Schultz looked no further than his passion for racing when determining the next steps in the development of Schultz Engineered Products.
Schultz set out to make auto racing a safer sport.
While racing at short tracks up and down the eastern seaboard, he noted that fueling issues common in aviation were prevalent in auto racing as well. Knowing there was a market in the motorsports industry for safe and reliable fueling equipment, Schultz went to work designing a new fuel cell for a wide variety of racing applications to address spillage, vapor recovery, and fuel integrity.
Today, the innovative product line at Schultz Engineered Products includes performance racing fuel cells and bladders, top plates, dry breaks, and fuel cans. Made in the USA by experienced engineers, machinists, and fabricators, these products are safer, more durable, and outperform all other fuel cells.
Schultz Engineered Products enjoys an exclusive relationship with some of racing’s elite sanctioning bodies, supplying fueling products to all teams in stock car racing’s top-three series. Their products can be found in the race cars of champions on the Whelen Modified Tour competition and aboard Longhorn Super Late Models, Hamke Race cars, and tons more. From the sands of Baha to the salt flats, top performers rely on Schultz Engineered Products. Custom cells for vintage and road racing are among Schultz’s specialties.

Enjoying success at New Smyrna Speedway in a 604 Modified division previously, Schultz is trying his hands at SK Light racing at Thompson Speedway in Thompson, CT this season.
