HASTINGS, Neb. (July 26, 2024) - Gaige Weldon doubled up on feature wins and Kaiden Lane returned to victory with the Dirt2Media NOW600 Micro Sprint National Championship presented by Hi Plains Building Division at KAM Raceway on Friday night.
99 entries were on hand with 39-NOW600 A-Class, 34-NOW600 Non-Wing, 20-NOW600 Restricted, and 6-NOW600 Junior Sprints signing in for competition.
Gaige Weldon claimed the Stock Non-Wing feature event win. Jadyn Friesen finished in the second spot from 11th. Ryan Frandsen rounded out the podium advancing 12 spots. Sam Holt was fourth and Caleb Woodard completed the top five.
Landon Davis, Colton Mcwhirter, Jackson Gray, and Brendan McCarter each picked up Milestone Home Service Company Heat Races. Cruz Dickerson was the nights K&B Racing Quick Qualifier.
Doubling up on action, Gaige Weldon scored the feature win in Winged A-Class. Jadyn Friesen was second at the line with Joey Starnes crossing in the third spot. Fourth went to Ryan Frandsen with Tityn Roberts making up the top five.
Joey Starnes, Hank Soares, Ryan Frandsen, Gaige Weldon, and Tityn Roberts each topped Milestone Home Service Company heat races. Jackson Kounkel was the K&B Racing Quick Qualifier.
Kaiden Lane went to victory in the Restricted class. Brycen Roush finished in the runner up spot with Tityn Roberts third. Jude Allgayer crossed in the fourth spot with Taelynn Roberts rounded out the top five.
Deekan McRoberts, Kaiden Lane, and Brycen Roush were victors in Milestone Home Service Company heat races. Jude Allgayer claimed the K&B Racing Quick Qualifier award.
Action for the National Open Wheel 600 Series returns to action on Saturday with the finale of the two night event at KAM Raceway.
