Sarver, PA (July 19, 2024) Fab4 racing resumes on Friday night, this time with the return of the Precise Racing Products Late Models whom have been absent from The Action Track since the Firecracker 100 weekend in June. However, it is also a special night due to an annual off track activity that has raised over $20,000 since it's inception while helping people in the area. The annual Autism Awareness night will take place this Friday night with plenty of gift baskets, door panels, wing panels, and much more available for bid via raffle or auction all located on the main concourse. All proceeds will go to Autism Pittsburgh from the prize tables which will be packed with all sorts of racing related goods and memorabilia.
On the track, the Peoples Natural Gas Sprint Cars, Diehl Automotive Big Block Modifieds, and Millerstown Pic-A_Part Pro Stocks will join the Precise Racing Late Models, bringing the typical Fab4 format for all four divisions. In Peoples Natural Gas Sprint car action, Mark Smith invaded from Central, PA last Friday night and made it worthwhile as he held off a hard charging AJ Flick to cross first under the checkered flag. This will be the final look at the track for the Sprint Car pilots before the 33rd annual Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup which takes place on Tuesday, July 23. The Kubota High Limit Racing Sprint Car Series drivers will be invading to do battle and take home the $25,000 winner's share. The Precise Racing Products Late Models have been off for over a month but return on Friday night to resume their season long battle. So far, it's been Michael Norris's world, as he holds a firm point lead and all but one of the weekly wins thus far in 2024.
The Diehl Automotive Big Block Modifieds return to a regular point format following last week's BRP Modified Tour stop that saw Ransomville, NY invader Erick Rudolph take the $3,000 tour win with Rex King Jr and points leader Garrett Krummert rounded out the podium. In Millerstown Pic-A-Part Pro Stock action, the season long battle between Christian Schneider and Chris Schneider saw Chris once again come out on top for his fourth feature win of 2024. However, coming into Friday night, Christian still brings the points lead albeit a slim one, with plenty of opportunities for Chris to bring the battle down to the wire in August.
