Hutchinson, Kansas 7/18/2024 (www.urssracing.com) - The United Rebel Sprint Series presented by RacinDirt.Com heads to Hutchinson, Kansas this weekend for the Murphy Tractor and Supply USAC SaltCity 100.
The week kicks off Friday, July 19th at the Kansas State Fairgrounds Historic Half-Mile facility. Friday will feature practice and Heat races for the United Rebel Sprint Series, with Features scheduled for Saturday, July 20th.
The last time the series traveled to Hutchinson, Ty Williams was able to coast his Hilker Trucking #911 into victory lane. With this trip, new names have potential to win this weekend.
In the last six races, Jake Martens has parked it four times with the United Rebel Sprint Series. With the momentum starting to shift at the cross flags of the season, another driver is looking for a major rebound.
Steven Richardson felt really good heading into the Speedweek Tour last week, that was until you asked him that question prior to the final night of the tour. Going into WaKeeney on the outside looking in to Jeremy Huishs point lead (-2), Richardson couldn’t seem to beg for a good performance.
Obviously the “Rocket” Jeremy Huish has been fast all season long, but the #20 Cranston Racing driver has yet to get a win at the half-mile this season. Look for Jeremy Huish to get back into his winning ways this weekend.
