Between off weeks and Mother Nature, the Golden Jubilee season at the Can Am Speedway has been out of action for about a month and this past Friday was another victory for the weather.
The Northern region was hit with heavy rains and storms from Tuesday through Thursday, leaving behind plenty of standing water at the track in its path. With the speedway and some of the parking areas seeing plenty of water, the decision was made to cancel Ladies Night at the Speedway by track management.
Can Am will move forward to next Friday night for the Crate Sprint Car Spectacular for the Panther Frameworx Crate Sprints. Also on the card will be the Whitesboro Plow Shop DIRTCar 358 Modifieds, Bob Johnson Auto Group DIRTCar Sportsman, Donath Motorworx Limited Sportsman and the Sundance Leisure Thundercars.
Gates open at 5pm with the first green flying at 7pm, as the Golden Jubilee Season marches on.
